OpenMANET Project T-Shirt
When the towers go dark, the mesh keeps talking.
This shirt is for the people building infrastructure-free communications from the ground up. A small pixel-art handheld radio sits on the left chest. On the back is a large version of the radio with the OpenMANET wordmark underneath, easy to spot across the field or the hamfest floor. Black on olive green gives it a clean, utilitarian look.
OpenMANET is an open-source project for building long-range mesh radios from a Raspberry Pi and Wi-Fi HaLow hardware. There are no towers, no carriers, and no subscriptions, just nodes finding each other and passing traffic across the network. Wear it to the field, the makerspace, or anywhere else you're running links.
The design is printed on a Comfort Colors 1717, a heavyweight, garment-dyed tee that's soft and broken-in from the first wear. It has a relaxed fit for everyday wear. Double-needle stitching makes it durable, and there are no side seams, so it keeps its shape wash after wash.
